118 Gallery is a refurbished laundromat which shows world class art for anyone.

We are committed to showing work which we believe in, regardless of its marketplace relevance. We are committed to range, so we offer diversity rather than branding ourselves into a niche, but without sacrificing depth. We operate on a principal of care versus commodification, cultivating relationships with our artists and viewers alike, in order to evolve the brightest conversation between parts of the art community that often remain polarized.

We do film, dance, installation, theater and a sculpture garden in the near future.118 Gallery is the embodiment of the new vessel afloat in a turbulent sea; while art fairs and auctions ascend, we exemplify the thriving, smaller scaled venues which bring ART out from the fusty corridors of jewel-box art houses and into the daylight. What we bring in spirit and idealism we match with professionalism, bringing content from the capitals and catalyzing local careers.
