SUMMARY:Word Café: Night Writing
DESCRIPTION:Writing is lonely work. Why not sometimes do it together? \nAn evening writing group for late-risers and 9-5ers. \nHow it Works: We will briefly introduce ourselves and our projects/goals at the beginning of each session\, and then work quietly side by side. Writers re-circle for the last fifteen minutes to discuss what they discovered and accomplished during their writing time. All are welcome. \nFacilitator: Desmond Peeples \nCost: $5-10 suggested donation. (These donations pay the facilitators for their time—thank you for your support! No one will be turned away for luck of funds.) \nBrought to you by Robin MacArthur’s Word House\, Word Café is held twice a week: Monday mornings\, 9-11 AM in the Hooker Dunham Building at 139 Main Street\, and Sunday evenings\, 6-8 PM here at 118 Elliot. \nWORD HOUSE is an emerging entity dedicated to fostering the literary and creative arts in Brattleboro\, Vermont (and the surrounding area). Our intention is to offer writing space\, workshops\, mentoring and readings\, all aimed to enrich the writing & artistic lives of a diverse population in our region.
