SUMMARY:The 7th Annual Southern Vermont Dance Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Southern Vermont Dance Festival returns July 18th – 21st 2019 for its 7th anniversary\, with an exciting round of dance classes\, lectures and performances hosted at venues all around Brattleboro. \nAs last year\, festival attendees will be invited to attend dance performances each evening as well as a choice of many different classes each day. There will be many amazing opportunities offered to the professional dancer\, dance student\, and dance enthusiast. \nFrom Thursday July 18 to Sunday the 21st\, 118 Elliot will host a wide variety of classes\, as well as a “contact jam” with choreographer Dorcas Roman. Here’s a breakdown of festival activities here at 118: \n(Please note that to attend classes you must purchase a Festival Pass. Click here to purchase your pass now.) \nThursday July 18\n7:45am Registration \nClasses offered Thursday 9:15 AM – 8:00 PM include: \nBallet\, Modern\, Assisted Thai Yoga\, Afro-Brazilian\, Contemporary Fusion\, Belly Dance\, Body Tuning\, Afro-Jazz\, Cha Cha\, Yoga Pilates\, Bollywood\, Sambe Pagode\, Contact Improvisation\, Contact Jam\, “Stomp” Style Percussion\, Let Your Feet Sing\, and more. \nRegistration is required to participate in classes. \nContact Jam with Dorcas Roman \nTIME: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PMCOST: $15\, open to the public (must pre-register) \n\nPlease not that if you have a Festival Pass that includes Thursday you can choose this as one of your classes.
