Nu Mu Festival Overview Nu Mu Festival Schedule Payton MacDonald is a percussionist/composer who is also an avid mountain climber. In his multi-year project "Sonic Peaks," he climbs local mountains and creates graphic musical scores for improvising musicians to interpret. The audio/visual performance will feature MacDonald on Marimba and Jeff Lederer on wind instruments.
