About 118 Elliot

118 Elliot is a modern, multipurpose environment for the creative arts, educational talks, and personal events for up to 220 people. We are a fully ADA accessible space in the heart of downtown Brattleboro. This unique, flexible space has a 2000 sq ft main room and a smaller conference room or backstage which allows for easy transitions between public gatherings to smaller social events. Parking in back can be transformed to a large and private outdoor area with a forest garden for warm weather events.

You can request to rent the space by clicking the “Rent” menu option and completing the form. Here’s just a few of the things 118 can offer.

– highly visible situation downtown provides lots of attention for signage in windows and boosts marquee messaging

– parking for 12 in rear including handicap sp, plenty of municipal parking within one block at parking center free after 6pm

– large outdoor area in back and forest garden for outdoor tenting/warm weather events (parking lot not usable then)

– maximum seating capacity 160 with stage, chairs provided

– maximum occupancy is 220

– one 10×3 foot wooden table, 4 six foot folding tables, 4 four foot square cocktail tables, 2 4×2 foot folding tables available for use

– coat rack

– limited storage capacity in basement (must be pre-arranged)

– small kitchen in main room with sink, coffee pot etc (no catering kitchen)

– walkable to all downtown Brattleboro amenities (Hazel, McNeils and Kiplings bars all within one block)

– full motion alarms and outdoor lighting provide maximum security
